Ube Pastillas
A soft and creamy Filipino treat made with Elufa Instant Ube Halaya Mix and Elufa Ube FlavorPlus for a rich, vibrant twist on a classic. Perfect for gifting, snacking, or sharing with family!

Ingredients
• 2 cups Elufa Instant Ube Halaya Mix
• ½ tsp Elufa Ube FlavorPlus (optional, for added flavor and color)
• 1 cup Alaska Sweetened Condensed Milk
• 1 cup Alaska powdered milk
• Extra Alaska powdered milk or granulated sugar (for coating)
Directions
Prepare the Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine Elufa Instant Ube Halaya Mix and Alaska condensed milk. Mix until smooth and fully blended. Gradually stir in the Alaska powdered milk while mixing. Add Elufa Ube FlavorPlus, if using, and mix until it forms a soft, dough-like consistency. If too sticky, add a bit more powdered milk until the mixture is easy to handle.
Shape the Pastillas
Scoop small portions and shape into logs or balls, depending on preference. Roll each piece in powdered milk or granulated sugar to coat.
Chill or Serve
Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up before serving. Wrap in colored cellophane for gifting or store in an airtight container.
Extra Tip
For added flair, press the shaped pastillas into silicone molds or roll them in crushed nuts or coconut flakes.
